| Apple iPad does not have integrated SD card slots but requires the Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader which must be purchased separately.
SD card must contain a DCIM folder (called 'DCIM') in order for the Photo app to load photos. If the folder is missing then a message "The attached USB device is not supported" will be displayed. Check to make sure photos are located under DCIM folder or subfolders.
SDHC cards are featured in four performance classes:
SD4 = Class 4 (4MB/sec minimum data transfer rate)
SD6 = Class 6 (6MB/sec minimum data transfer rate)
SD10 = Class 10 (10MB/sec minimum data transfer rate)
